The club was packed with people, but the human didn't focus on any of the moving bodies behind her. Usually the heavy beat would have picked up her spirits, but for once the music wasn't helping.

Her father had hit her again, but this time he hadn't stopped.

Louisa had hidden the marks with make-up that she'd managed to steal from her mother's room, but she knew she'd had to get away from her home and go somewhere. At twelve o'clock on a Saturday night there were only a few places to go to in order to escape and forget your sorrows, and the club 'Extinct' seemed the be a perfect place for that.

People bustled around her to get to the bar, but she ignored them as she sipped at the alcohol that seemed tasteless to her. Her father had been drunk, but it was no excuse for the violent words of abuse he had fired at her. She had been crushed her whole life, with no one to look after her as her mother was too afraid of her father to bother to stand up to him.

Louisa only had herself and she was sick and tired of it.

"Come on," she breathed against the glass, willing the music to take over her body but it didn't seem to catch her muscles at all. The song didn't connect with the darkness of what she was feeling, giving her nothing to relate to as others enjoyed themselves. Her chestnut eyes closed and her head shook as she was frustrated and in pain…though unaware of a pair of blue eyes were watching her.

Kisten knew he was the only vampire in the club that night and as such, the handsome man had easy pickings. But Kisten wasn't known for doing things the easy way; he worked for the Council and their tasks were rarely anything but challenging.

But that night he had the night off, and the girl at the bar had caught his attention. Humans in next to nothing flaunted themselves to him but his attention was focused on the more fully dressed, distressed human trying to drown her sorrows.

A smirk crossed his lips, cocking his head to one side as he stayed in the dark of the booth. She wasn't curvaceous, with an almost boyish frame and small enough breasts that a bra wasn't necessary. Her dark, chestnut hair was thick and tied back to show a Chinese symbol tattooed to the base of her neck, but Kisten had a suspicion that that wasn't the only permanent mark she'd put onto her body.

Dressed in a pair of low-cut jeans and tank top, she wasn't really dressed for clubbing and the vampire suspected this had been an unplanned trip. He had watched her come in from the entrance and seen how she had reacted to the music without even thinking about it. Every muscle of her body seemed to be designed to move as one with the beat, and seduction rolled off her skin like a fine wine that buzzed in his senses.

He didn't know what it was about the human, but he was interested in her and he knew that he had to approach her or he'd lose his mind.

Louisa hadn't noticed the dangerous attention she'd managed to attract, her eyes focused on the now empty glass. Her chestnut eyes stared at it, willing it to refill but when she realised that it wasn't going to do anything she pushed it across the bar with a soft sigh. Her lips parted as she went to flag down the bartender, but she blinked as a man pressed in on one side of her.

"Can I get you a drink, pretty lady?" She didn't care enough to take in his appearance but she cocked an eyebrow at the man's words, seeing the lustful grin on his face that didn't interest her in the slightest.

"You'll need to buy me more than one drink to get in with a chance," her response was almost sneered – usually she teased men, but she had never given herself fully to one before. It was almost as if she hadn't found the right person to trust just yet, but she knew that the leering man at her side was out of the question for that role, especially with the night she'd just had.

"I will buy you as many as you need," Louisa looked up, surprised that her insult hadn't deterred the man. He was still grinning at her and she felt her jaw harden.

"How about you save your money and my sanity?" The man raised an eyebrow, going to lean on the bar but slipping so he skidded in closer to her. The move was a mistake as Louisa pushed off the stool, grabbing his top and shoving him up against the bar with a growl. People around her paused, blinking and their eyes widening as she glared down at the drunken man, "you want some helpful advice? Go wank into a tissue, it's the only action you'll be getting all night."

If the man responded she didn't notice as she released him, turning to leave the club with tension building between her shoulders. Others watched her, blinking and raising eyebrows but no one dared stopped the irritated woman. The music hadn't helped her and that only worried her – it always did…but then again, she had never been beaten by her father before.

Cold struck her as she stepped out into the winter weather of the city, a cold splash of rain causing her to grit her teeth. Girls giggled and hobbled along quickly in their high heels as they made their way to the club, trying to avoid the rain. Louisa ignored them, shaking her head as she tried to think of somewhere else to escape.

She remained unaware of the vampire following her in the shadows.

An edge of a smirk crossed Kisten's lips; she knew how to handle herself it seemed, had an edge of fire in her taste. The vampire wasn't one to hold long term obsessions, but she promised to be fun until he decided to move onto another. Usually the women he turned were subjects the Council had sent him after, but this one he was going to do for fun.

Walking through the dark streets, Louisa was too irritated to realise that her path was a dangerous one. The lights that were meant to illuminate the way flickered on and off, a few not working as puddles formed at her feet. Her hair was soaked to her head, strands sticking to her cheeks as she shoved her hands into her jean pockets; the night couldn't get any worse.

Louisa stopped dead in her tracks, her eyes flashing right as she felt a shiver roll down her spine. The street was empty, and yet somehow she knew that she wasn't alone.

"Get out of the shadows you sick fuck – I'm not interested tonight unless you want me to rip your dick off."

"Well don't you know how to sweet talk a man," Louisa stiffened as a soft voice brushed over her skin, causing her to gasp as it seeped into her skin. Desire stirred through her like she'd never truly felt for a man, making her want to turn around instead of run as her eyes focused on a figure moving towards her. Kisten smirked at her, "though it is raining, so I'll let that one slide."

Louisa's eyes widened at the sight of the handsome man – she had seen men in magazines that looked good, but everything about the man before her sent shivers down her spine.

Cool, blue eyes focused on Louisa and a small smirk spread across his lips, a twinkle to his eyes that told her of mischief but also something far darker. His dark, blonde hair was short on his head with only strands flicking across his eyelashes, though the rain had made them stick to his head. His jaw was hard, giving him a strong edge with broad shoulders and big enough muscles that Louisa instantly knew he could subdue her without much of a struggle. His muscles were covered in an expensive, leather jacket and his legs dark jeans, completing the image as he stopped before her.

Louisa took a step back, "I'm really not in the mood for random shit tonight so please, go and bother someone else." She knew turning her back on him wasn't the best idea, but she wanted to get away from him; something about him made her shiver.

Turning on her heel, she went to leave but froze as she found herself focusing on the same man before her, "I'm really not 'random shit'." He purred to her, smirking at the fear that dashed across her eyes as he took a step forwards. She shuddered and took one back, shaking her head.

"What the…how the fuck did you do that?"

"You know a little magic is really the least of your concerns right now," the vampire smirked, knowing he had her and that she wasn't going to get away. She trembled but then turned to run…but it was pointless.

A cry came from her lips as strong arms wrapped around her from behind, feeling hot breath against her ear as she struggled, "let me the fuck go!" She demanded but gasped as his grip increased, pulling her into a side alley as his lips pressed to her ear.

"Stop struggling, I just want to take care of you," his words were filled with something that caused her to gasp. She moaned, feeling lust push through her once more as his hands slid over her body, taking her in with a light purr as he nibbled at her earlobe. "That's it, just enjoy it," he told her, letting his Charm push into her and take over her body. She was just a human – she had no chance against him.

"S-stop," was her only protest and it caused him to laugh as he turned her, pinning her to the wall so that his front pressed against hers. A soft moan came from her lips as she found her body filled with lust and desire, his hand reaching up to tilt her chin up so he could look down into her face.

"Oh you won't want me to stop," he breathed, rain soaking them both as it filled the alley around them. Louisa trembled as he leant down, pressing his velvet lips to hers to only increased the desire she felt for the stranger before her. She couldn't make sense of it, only moments before she had been irritated but now she felt her insides swirl with a harsh desire and need as the stranger pinned her against the wall.

But he was right – she didn't want him to stop.

Kisten smirked against her lips, knowing he had her completely under his Charm. She was stubborn, but you couldn't be as stubborn as you wanted and it would have no affect on what the Charm did to you.

His hands stroked down her front, feeling her body through her soaked top but he blinked as his hands ran over her breasts, causing her to moan but he found his fingers prying at something through the material. He broke the kiss, glancing down as he realised her left nipple was pierced and as he twitched it, a louder moan came from her lips.

A slow smirk crossed his features, one of amusement and desire as he looked at the seductive creature before him, "sensitive nipples and a piercing…man am I being spoiled." He chuckled, pressed in on her against as he didn't let the lust fade from her body at all, only building on it as his lips brushed against her ear once more, "my name is Kisten – I have chosen you to be my bride." He breathed to her, knowing she didn't really understand and couldn't listen to the words he was saying, but he more said them for his own amusement, "you will obey me, you will dance for me…" He twisted the piercing and Louisa cried out, her back arching with a gasp, "and you will beg for me."

Louisa panted, her eyes closed but she was lost to the man before her. She didn't understand what he was doing, or how he had instilled such sudden desire in her…but in an odd way, somehow she knew that the man pinning her to the wall, touching her in ways another had never before…

That he would be the answer to her problems.

Louisa is an old character of mine, starting out in my story 'Black Spirit' on my other account *HotBloodedFemale that I have now stopped. Kisten was her kinda love interest, and yet not at the same time as my vampires cannot feel love.

(These vampires are the same as the ones in 'A Reluctant Slave', but different setting)

I love Louisa a lot, used her in roleplay and realised how must I enjoy using her. She's kick arse, but only really when she has a 'master' who she knows will support her.

Kisten I like too, want to use him more. He seems like a typical arsehole, but boy does he get possessive of Louisa >_>

But I personally love seeing her with another character in roleplay XD
